Teresa Jordan - composer - piano - vocals
I live in Southern Oregon with my amazing husband and two beautiful daughters. I am the Worship Director at our little church. Music has been such an integral part of my life. At 8 years of age, my parents encouraged me to get involved in music by singing in choirs, performing in musicals and solo competitions. The Lord used Opera to deepen my knowledge of music. And by His grace I've been able to compose, play piano, lead worship and record.
I’m constantly encouraged knowing that our Lord has plans for us, to give us a future and a hope, and that His ways and thoughts are so much better than ours.
THE WEBSITE ADMINISTRATOR would like to mention Teresa traveled to Nashville this summer (2025) and recorded her own album of songs with a well-know music producer. Way to go Teresa!!!
Courtney Elkin - cello
Courtney lives in Southern Oregon with her husband and two children. Her love of music has deepened with every passing year since being part of an orchestra in the fourth grade. She now enjoys praising the Lord with her cello in worship services at her local church.
Lisa Swenson - vocals
Lisa is married to the love of her life and they have two young children. She’s been involved in both children and school choirs.
Often sharing the stage with Teresa during early morning worship and other worship services, they read each other like well-worn books. Their voices create the perfect harmonies you'll hear in the album. Both love the Lord and enjoy sharing His love and grace by their musical gifts.
Drenon Carlyle - wrote the lyrics & all of the Christmas program scripts
Drenon was raised in Kansas, but left home at age 15 despite having great parents. At age 16 he lived in California & Kansas before moving to Des Moines, Iowa, where he joined the Air Force to avoid the draft . He was sent to Texas. Then he moved back to Kansas. And after being discharged 4 years later, he moved his family to California. He now lives in Southern Oregon.
He's attended performances by Simon & Garfunkel, Art Garfunkel twice, Jefferson Airplane, The Righteous Brothers, The Four Seasons, Anne Murray, 2nd Chapter Of Acts, Barry McGuire, John Denver, Keith Green, Phil Driscoll, Love Song, Willie Nelson, Carrie Underwood, Elton John, Judy Collins twice and many-many others.
His favorite songwriters are storytellers: Bernie Taupin, Judy Collins Joni Mitchell, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, Steven Stills, Neil Young, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Paul Simon, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash etc.
He has written 14 screenplays and 3 TV pilots, but has yet to be produced, though his scripts have passed through the strictest gatekeepers and have been read by: Harrison Ford, Nic Cage, Ivan Reitman, James Garner, Jack Lemmon, etc., etc. He began writing lyrics for this album in 2015.
Drenon and his present wife of 48 years are retired. They have 2 children. He has 2 children from a previous marriage. Though separated by many miles, all are very close.
